FLORIDA

Last week we spent a afternoon at the Golf near Pensacola FL. We all had lots of fun walking/running along the shore line, picking up sea shells, and building sand castles. It was great fun!

Allison found a goofy looking sea creature on the sand.
We're pretty sure it was a stingray egg.

Miranda and Laurissa are definatly two-peas-in-a-pod!

A few days later our family took a little "vacation", and went to the Kennedy Space Center.
It was an awesome experience!

Here is the actual Atlantis Space Shuttle.

Smiles in the tunnel...

This ginormous machine is used to transport space craft to the launching pad.

Here is where NASA launches most of their rockets and shuttles.

The NASA headquarters.

For apollo 8 they used a rocket very simular to this one.

Since this post is getting bit long I think I'll call this good enough. At least now you have an idea what's at the Kennedy Space Center. But of course there was much more, like the iMax theater, the tour bus ride, the rocket launch simulator, hall of fame, and so much more.
Until next time...
