USS Alabama Battleship

While traveling through Alabama we thought it would be fun to take a tour on the USS Alabama Battleship.
It was pretty awesome to see what it was like to live on the Alabama during World War II.

How truly blessed we are to live in this great land of ours.
May we never forget the sacrifice it took to make our nation a free nation.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."
Psalm 33:12

South Carolina and Florida

Believe it or not it this picture was taken in South Carolina!
Unfortunately it snowed during the Gospel Express Prison Crusade. But thankfully we did go to one prison. It was such a blessing to be part of it! :)

Searching for the nice looking sea shells.

Isn't God's handiwork so beautiful?
It makes a person wonder why someone can believe it all came to be by some random chance.

"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth. He gatherereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses."
Psalm 33:6-7

Southern Adventures

Our family has traveled a lot of miles in the past week and a half.
We've gone through Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and we are now in South Carolina.

In Kansas City we spent a couple of days visiting our uncle.

Coloring time!

Uncle Jim took us to the National World War 1 Museum.

The view form the tower was amazing! You can see just about all of Kansas City.

It was very cold and windy up there. We were probably only up there for about five minutes.

This year we had the privilege of visiting the Creation Museum.
I highly recommend everyone to see it if they have the opportunity.

There were lots of insect collections.

These are just a few of the beautiful butterflies that were there.

These ducks have a bit of a story behind them.
In Ohio, we stayed at a RV camp ground.
While Mom and Dad were checking in, a duck comes waddling up to our van.
We thought it might be hungry, so we gave it a few peanut shells.
Well..... Guess what we found outside waiting for us the next morning???
About half a dozen more ducks waiting for their breakfast.
We couldn't help but feed them some old dried out tortillas.
Later that afternoon on the way back from the Creation Museum we stopped at a gas station.
Allison hops out of the van and says she's going to buy the ducks a loaf of bread.
When we got back to the camp ground, guess what we found???
About 18 ducks waiting for us to come back!
It was quit a sight!

Who wants a duck?

Please pray for our family as we will be ministering to those who are in prisons here in South Carolina.
