Christmas

Christmas was wonderful this year! Our sister Andrea, along with her husband Joel and their daughter Leana came down from Canada to stay with us for awhile.
For me personally I think it was the best Christmas we've had so far.

 Decorating time!

Leana was definitely the star of the week.

Leana eats by herself now. Forks and all! :)

Snack time!

Snow/Christmas Daffy Supper

In the last two weeks or so we have gotten about 10-12 inches of snow.
It was so gorgeous out I just had to take some pictures.

The first Saturday of December our church put on a Daffy Supper.
We invited quite a few youth to come out, but because of the weather and the distance some people didn't show up. But we still ended up having around 25 youth show up. It was a blast!

Laurissa setting the tables.

We ended up making four trifles.

Chow-down time!

Breanna Taylor enjoying her chopsticks.

Joni Kauffman ended up getting the giant fork and baby bottle.

That's all for now folks. Hopefully our next post won't take so long. Sorry for the delay everybody!

Grapes

Some friends of ours called us up last week and asked us if we needed any home grown concord grapes.
We called them back and said that we would love to pick some. We ended up coming home with a big tub full of grapes. What a blessing!!!

Here they are after they were stripped off the vines.

Here are just a few of the 52 quarts of juice we canned.
What a blessing it was!

"I was bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together."
Psalm 34:1-3

Two New Kitties

The neighbors that Laurissa and Miranda milk for gave us these adorable little kittens. They've added so much excitement and laughter to our house.

Play time!

The kittens were a bit stinky when we got them, so we ended up giving them both a bath.
