Christmas With Family

Andrea, Joel and Leana came down for Christmas this year. It was a short visit, but it was packed with fun and sweetness.
They didn't come until later in the evening Christmas Day. We decided that it was best to open all the gifts on Friday.

Leana got to help Grandpa open up the first present.

Our lovely parents had to share a kiss with the wonderful season of Christmas.

Sweet smiles...

Leana with Daddy...

Matthew got a single cup coffee maker for his apartment in Nebraska.

Laurissa made each of us girls a pare of beautiful, warm mittens.

Matthew loves his brand new leather jacket!

Look at the camera Leana!

Mommy and Leana...

I think we spoiled her with all the gifts she ended up getting.
But totally worth the smiles and laughter coming from such a little peanut.

To wrap it all up I'll have to say that it was one of the best Christmases I've ever had.

Saturday we had a gathering of grandparents, uncles and cousins from Dad's side of the family.
We had the reunion at the nursing home where grandma lives.

Grandpa, Dad, Mom, Charile, Aunt Mary, Aunt Julie, Al, and Uncle Joe.

Most of the cousins are represented in this picture.
Sadly, there were a few cousins who couldn't make it. We missed you Jackie, Craig, Troy, Shanon and Chris.
Hope you had a very merry Chritmas!

"Lo, children are an inheritance of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
Psalm 127:3-5
