November Snow

Usually we don't get snow until the end of November or the beginning of December. But this year the snow came a bit early and we were surprised to get around 5-6 inches.
The yard was so beautiful with the fresh white powder, I just simply had to get outside and take some photos.

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

Work at Home

Throughout the year our family's prayer was that we would be able to have our own bus, motor home, or trailer to use on our next winter tour. Our prayers were miraculously answered this summer when some dear friends of ours gave us their old motor home. A tree fell on it and it's been sitting, not being used for around two years. It needs work, but for the most part it is still in fairly good condition.
We feel greatly blessed and amazed at God's provision for our family...

Matthew, vacuuming the floor.

A good friend of ours volunteered his time and came over to help us with the work.

Daddy, doing some fixing on the roof.
If ya'll want to see more pictures of our project you can visit us on The Herrlinger Family Band on Facebook.

In the meantime, us girls spent time inside catching up on some sewing projects, school, and house chores.

Because his mercy endureth for ever."

Concert at Balsam Lutheran

Saturday night our family was blessed to sing at the Balsam Lutheran Church in Amery WI.
We haven't been doing a lot of singing lately, so it felt good to be out singing as a family again.
Thanks to my brother Justin and my sister Allison for making this post possible!

Miranda getting Allison all nice and pretty.

Laurissa getting her fingers warmed up and ready to go.

~ Concert Time ~

Oh Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!

Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!

Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!

Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity."

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy
before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
Psalm 96

Our New Horse...

Hey everyone! Sorry our blog has been abandoned lately...
Due to my camera failing on me, I haven't been able to take any pictures lately.
Thankfully, I was able to buy a new camera, and now hopefully we'll be posting more once again. :-)
For those of you who know us are probably aware that in the last month or so we've gotten a new horse...! Her name is Misty, and she is a palomino quarter horse.

Welcome to our home Misty!
