Home Sweet Home!

After 8 full weeks of traveling, we are home at last!
If there are any of you out there who have traveled for a long time, you can all imagine our excitement to be home.
These last few days we have been busy unpacking, cleaning the house, and just getting back into normal life.

"O give thanks unto unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever."
Psalm 136:1

Littleton Colorado

This last week we camped out at our uncles church in Littleton Colorado.
We arrived last Friday and left on Thursday.

This was the view from the church.

The girls had fun petting and feeding the horses grass.

We also had fun throwing some Frisbee.

Wednesday afternoon the four of us girls walked over to the greenhouses that were nearby.

Walking through the greenhouse...

:: In Concert ::
Wednesday evening we gave the people at the church a concert.
It is rare that we get pictures of us while we sing. But thanks to the pastor, George Abbas,  we now have a few pictures to share with you.

"O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy, hath gotten him the victory."
Psalm 98:1

At Grandma's

From the end of February through the 9th of March we spent our time visiting our Grandma in Cottonwood Arizona.
While we were at her house we spent our time singing at various nursing homes and churches, catching up on school work, sewing, swimming, and hiking.

The girls found lots of time to color.

We had a lot of fun swimming down at the club house.

We finally got to swim in a 6 foot pool! :)

Miranda had fun doing shallow dives.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary: they shall walk, and not faint."

Scenic Arizona

While we were traveling on one of the main roads in Arizona, we came across a back road that looked like it would be a bit more scenic.
We started driving and suddenly realized that this was more then an ordinary back road. It wound back and forth through a mountain for about 35 miles.
We stopped at one of the overlooks for a good view of the scenery.

Later we stopped at a greenhouse with all sorts of different kinds of cactus plants and flowers.

We picked some wild flowers in a ditch while we were parked at a Walmart.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of my salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."
Psalm 51:10-12

USS Alabama Battleship

While traveling through Alabama we thought it would be fun to take a tour on the USS Alabama Battleship.
It was pretty awesome to see what it was like to live on the Alabama during World War II.

How truly blessed we are to live in this great land of ours.
May we never forget the sacrifice it took to make our nation a free nation.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."
Psalm 33:12

South Carolina and Florida

Believe it or not it this picture was taken in South Carolina!
Unfortunately it snowed during the Gospel Express Prison Crusade. But thankfully we did go to one prison. It was such a blessing to be part of it! :)

Searching for the nice looking sea shells.

Isn't God's handiwork so beautiful?
It makes a person wonder why someone can believe it all came to be by some random chance.

"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth. He gatherereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses."
Psalm 33:6-7
